Hilton has signed a management agreement for the 800-room Signia by Hilton Indianapolis. Currently under construction and expected to open in late 2026, the new-build property will serve as the latest anchor hotel connecting to the Indiana Convention Center as part of the city’s $710-million convention center expansion. Owned by the Capital Improvement Board of Managers of Marion County, a municipal corporation of Marion County, IN, the property will be developed by Kite Realty and managed by Hilton.
“The signing of Signia by Hilton Indianapolis represents a pivotal milestone for both the Signia by Hilton brand and Hilton, as we look to grow our presence in this culturally rich city, where we currently welcome travelers at nearly 50 Hilton properties across eight brands,” said Amy King, VP, luxury development, Hilton. “Following the recent groundbreaking of the Indiana Convention Center’s impressive expansion, we are honored to collaborate with visionary owners who are contributing to the city’s monumental tourism growth and helping us cater to the ever-evolving needs of our guests in this vibrant destination.”
Once construction is completed, the 40-story hotel will be the tallest hotel in the city, according to Hilton, and will provide direct access to the convention center via a skywalk over Capitol Ave.
“Indianapolis is a dynamic city, and Signia by Hilton is a perfect fit for this incredible opportunity in the heart of Indianapolis,” said Teddy Berlin, brand leader, Signia by Hilton. “Offering a vibrant atmosphere, exceptional amenities, personalized service and best-in-class meetings and events capabilities, Signia by Hilton Indianapolis will further enhance the city’s reputation as one of the premiere destinations in the U.S. for sophisticated business, leisure and group travelers.”
Andy Mallon, executive director, Capital Improvement Board, said, “The Signia by Hilton brand is ideal for this expansion project, and having Hilton signed on to manage the property is the pivotal addition that will take us to the next level of the events industry.”
The hotel will offer approximately 90,000 sq. ft. of flexible meeting space, including a 50,000-sq.-ft. ballroom, as well as seven distinct dining concepts, including a speakeasy bar and a top-level sky bar; a spa and fitness facility; and a pool deck.
The property will also offer Club Signia, which features elevated room types, access to the Club Lounge and a dedicated Club Signia ambassador.
