It may be chilly outside, but Lee’s Famous Recipe Chicken – a celebrated name in delicious, home-style fried chicken for more than 55 years – is bringing the heat with an exciting limited time offer in collaboration with Mike’s Hot Honey, the popular chili-infused honey known coast to coast.
Lee’s new Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich starts with its already famous Spicy Chicken Sandwich, featuring a five-ounce chicken filet marinated in Lee’s special blend of seasonings before being honey-dipped and hand-breaded. Then it’s served up on a brioche bun and topped with a drizzle of Mike’s Hot Honey.

What’s really special about this particular cross-over is that Matt Beaton, CEO of Mike’s Hot Honey, grew up eating and helping at his hometown Lee’s Famous Recipe Chicken.

Mike’s Hot Honey founder, Mike Kurtz, recently spoke to franchisees at Lee’s annual brand conference in Louisville, KY, helping lead to the highest participation in this limited time offering in Lee’s history. “We’ve done LTO’s with pizza brands and other restaurant groups, but this is our first partnership with a fried chicken chain, and I couldn’t be more excited to be working with Lee’s to bring our great flavors together,” said Kurtz.
Lee’s Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich will be available at participating restaurant locations beginning December 4, 2023, and will be offered through February 4, 2024, while supplies last.
