Verdict Foodservice lists ten of the most popular tweets made by chefs in August 2019, based on the number of retweets and likes. The tweets were tracked by GlobalData’s Influencer platform. In order to select the best, GlobalData uses state of the art software to find the most popular Twitter entries.
It was no surprise that top chef Gordon Ramsay featured strongly in the top ten most popular food tweets. His global popularity helped him to provide almost half of the top ten entries in our the Foodservice top ten. Gordon Ramsay’s four tweets which were most liked and retweeted were inspired by his shows Uncharted on the National Geographic channel and Masterchef on the Fox channel. His wide-ranging tweet subjects included exotic foods and drinks and a very tricky cookery challenge.
