Valencia Hotel Collection announced the promotion of Roy Kretschmer to the position of chief operating officer – Valencia Hotel Group. Kretschmer was previously executive vice president of operations.

Staypineapple Hotels Inc. announced the addition of Austin Gardner as vice president of business development. Gardner brings over 13 years of hospitality sales and marketing experience to the position.

Westport Hospitality announced the promotion of Jazmin Smith to client care coordinator at Westport Hospitality, overseeing both the Courtyard by Marriott and Hotel Vermont. Smith has been with Westport Hospitality for nearly three years.

Conrad New York Midtown announced the appointment of Jimmy Sarfraz as general manager of the hotel. Sarfraz joined the property from San Jose, California, where he led the rebranding and opening of Signia by Hilton San Jose.

Conrad Maldives Rangali Island announced the appointment of Thomas Hoeborn as general manager. Hoeborn’s new role includes driving the property’s commitment to the guest experience.

Palace Hotel, part of Marriott International’s Luxury Collection, announced the appointment of Geoffrey Sarbia-Mason as director of sales and marketing. He joins the property with more than three decades of experience.

Goldener Hirsch, Auberge Resorts Collection announced the appointment of Senthil Krishnamurthy to executive chef. With over two decades of experience, Krishnamurthy will work with locally sourced ingredients for their menus.

Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group announced the appointment of Christian Glauser Benz as head of development for the Americas region, and they will play a role in the development and investment group for the region.

AutoCamp Hospitality Group announced the appointment of David DiFalco as chief operating officer. In his new role, DiFalco will oversee openings, operations, food and beverage, retail, and more of the company.
