Created to take guests on a culinary tour of the best Southern BBQ, this chef-curated collection of Pitmaster Platters is a lip-smackin’ journey through the best BBQ found in Texas, South Carolina and Alabama. These three combos feature the finest slow-smoked meats, sauces and swoon-worthy sides that will have guests coming back for more!

“We challenged our wonderfully talented pitmasters to create something so irresistible, so unforgettable and delectable, that diners would think they’re sitting in the best BBQ joints in Texas, South Carolina and Alabama,” said Joan Hansen, vice president of marketing, Lucille’s Smokehouse Bar-B-Que. “I would say, mission accomplished! Our three new Pitmaster Platters are feasts that hit every tantalizing authentic flavor note.

Available for a limited time starting February 1, the three Pitmaster Platter combos, which are served with freshly baked biscuits and apple butter, include:

  • The Carolina Combo: Guests can immerse themselves in an authentic taste of slow-smoked pulled pork with mop sauce, a vinegar-based treasure that takes pulled pork to all-new heights, plus slow-smoked BBQ chicken with new Carolina Gold BBQ sauce, county fair corn pudding, Southern-braised greens, and picnic potato salad.
  • The Texas Combo: Straight from the Lone Star State, this platter includes a generous portion of Texas-style beef brisket, two Texas red hot sausage links, tangy Texas slaw, BBQ beans, and smoked jalapeño cheddar cornbread.
  • The Alabama Combo: Made with an authentic, tangy and creamy Alabama White BBQ Sauce—a staple from Birmingham to Tuscaloosa—this combo features a quarter chicken (leg and thigh), rib tips, Southern-braised greens, corn-on-the-cob, and picnic potato salad.

“Lucille’s Pitmaster Platters are a testament to our commitment to authentic flavors and Southern hospitality,” said Hansen. “To our guests, get ready. This tour is going to take your taste buds to another world!”
