Four management companies grow portfolios


Hospitality Ventures Management Group (HVMG) has added a DoubleTree by Hilton hotel in the Atlanta suburb of Alpharetta to its portfolio and the recently merged Benchmark Pyramid has added 36 properties in the U.S. and Europe. Read all about that and more below.

HVMG assumes management of Atlanta-area DoubleTree
Hospitality Ventures Management Group (HVMG), an Atlanta-based, private hotel management and investment company, has assumed operations of the 80-room DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Atlanta—Alpharetta in Alpharetta, GA. The property is owned by RADCO, an Atlanta-based national real estate company that specializes in the acquisition and redevelopment of value-add hospitality and multi-family investments.

The four-story hotel is located in Alpharetta’s Windward business district, less than five miles from North Point Mall and the Ameris Bank Amphitheatre. Amenities include complimentary WiFi, Savannah’s Restaurant and Lounge, a 24/7 fitness center, an outdoor pool, a business center and approximately 750 sq. ft. of meeting space.

Benchmark Pyramid adds 34 hotels to management portfolio
Benchmark Pyramid has added 34 hotels to its management portfolio in recent months, as the company sees a surge of demand across all areas of its business in both acquisitions and new management contracts. The new properties in the U.S. include both select- and full-service Marriott, Hilton and IHG hotels, and range in location from Michigan to Texas. In Europe, additions to the portfolio have included three English properties: Staverton Estate in Daventry, Yotel in Manchester and London EDITION in the capital. Benchmark Pyramid has also taken on new assignments in Spain’s Mallorca, Ibiza and Barcelona for an additional 12 hotels.

Benchmark Pyramid’s worldwide portfolio now stands at more than 230 properties in the U.S., Caribbean and Europe.

Benchmark Pyramid also continues to grow its receivership platform with institutional special servicers and lenders, and being selected for new receivership assignments for both full- and select-service properties in Texas, New York, Pennsylvania, Michigan and Florida.

HEI Hotels & Resorts to manage three properties for Lone Star Funds
HEI Hotels & Resorts has been chosen by an affiliate of Lone Star Funds to manage three hotels recently acquired from Host Hotels & Resorts totaling 1,240 rooms. The properties are The Whitley, A Luxury Collection Hotel, and the Westin Buckhead, both in Atlanta’s Buckhead neighborhood, as well as the San Ramon Marriott in San Ramon, CA.

HEI is the largest independent operator of Westins and one of the dominant operators of full-service franchised Marriott family branded hotels in the U.S, according to the company.

Crestline to manage Hilton Garden Inn Memphis Downtown
Crestline Hotels & Resorts LLC has been selected to manage the 150-guestroom Hilton Garden Inn Memphis Downtown in Memphis, TN. The hotel is located across from AutoZone Park and close to Beale Street and the FedEx-Forum. It offers 1,278 sq. ft. of meeting and event space. Crestline now manages seven hotels in Tennessee.

Guestrooms at the Hilton Garden Inn Memphis Downtown feature the Suite Dreams by Serta bed, a workstation with an ergonomic Mirra chair by Herman Miller, a 49-in. LCD TV and complimentary WiFi. Additional in-room amenities include a minifridge, microwave and a Keurig coffee maker. Amenities include a fitness center, an indoor swimming pool, pet-friendly rooms and a remote printing station. F&B outlets include Season’s Local Fare and Spirits Restaurant and The Greyhound, built on the site of a former Greyhound bus station.
