Canadian company Ritual has acquired QR contact tracing platform AllChecked.in as part of its long-term commitment to support restaurants.

Using this platform, customers will be able to check-in and log their contact information.

Ritual’s mobile ordering technology, which allows customers to discover, order and pick up their meals, will now include AllChecked.in’s contact tracing feature.

Ritual co-founder and CEO Ray Reddy said: “At Ritual, our goal is to enable restaurants to create authentic connections with their customers.

“We’re thrilled to welcome AllChecked.in to the Ritual family to bring easy and secure contact tracing to local restaurants. Now more than ever, we have a responsibility to support restaurants and ensure they have the tools to keep their employees and customers safe.”

The AllChecked.in platform will help restaurants collect customer data after they scan a QR code and provide their details in a health screening questionnaire.

Restaurants will provide the contact information and data to health authorities when requested.

Ritual said that it will offer AllChecked.in and Ritual Online Ordering free for a lifetime to any Canadian restaurant.

It further added that AllChecked.in will help businesses remain compliant with new contact tracing requirements, as it provides unlimited free customer check-ins.

This new technology helps restaurants keep their employees and customers safe.

AllChecked.in co-founder and CEO Curtis Lush said: “Together with Ritual, we’re committed to help restaurants adapt to local restrictions and welcome back diners safely.

“The addition of AllChecked.in to Ritual’s menu of services is a testament to its continued innovation as we join forces to help rebuild the economy.”

Additionally, the Ritual Online Ordering solution allows restaurants to build their own digital menu and accept orders from customers.

It also gives customers more ways to order from restaurants on a commission-free basis.
