Bob Evans Farmhouse Kitchen to Support Next Generation of American Farmers with Fifth Annual “Egg Crack, Give Back” Fundraiser

Bob Evans Farmhouse Kitchen to Support Next Generation of American Farmers with Fifth Annual "Egg Crack, Give Back" Fundraiser

Guests can support agricultural education* in two ways during the week of February 15

Today, Bob Evans Farmhouse Kitchen announced the return of their “Egg Crack, Give Back” fundraiser for its fifth year. This year, guests can support agricultural education for America’s future farmers in two exciting ways. During the week of February 15 – February 22, coinciding with National FFA Week, five percent of every Bob Evans gift card purchased online* will be donated. Also on February 20, dubbed “Give FFA Day,” Bob Evans locations** will pledge $1 of every Farmer’s Choice Breakfast sold all day for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The two donation methods and overall fundraiser stands as a pillar in Bob Evans’ partnership with the National FFA Organization and will see a total contribution of up to $15,000.*

“We’re excited to continue supporting the next generation of American farmers with our annual Egg Crack, Give Back fundraiser alongside the National FFA Organization,” said Mickey Mills, Chief Executive Officer of Bob Evans Restaurants. “With our deep roots in the agricultural community, we believe it is important to support local farmers and students who will make an impact in the future.”

As in previous years, the annual fundraiser will help to underwrite the Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) Grants that allow Midwestern FFA students access to agricultural internships, resources and entrepreneurial opportunities within their communities. In acknowledgement of our founder, Bob Evans, and his love and appreciation for the farming community, the “Egg Crack, Give Back” fundraiser is an important extension of the partnership between the legacy brand and the National FFA Organization.

“This year, we have even more menu items and ways to get involved to help the future generation of American farmers,” said Bob Holtcamp, President and CMO of Bob Evans Restaurants. “From Farmer’s Choice options to gift card sales benefitting the National FFA Organization, we invite everyone to help us in continuing to shape the future of the agriculture industry.”

Supporting the FFA with a Farm Fresh Breakfast:

The hero of the “Egg Crack, Give Back” fundraiser is the Farmer’s Choice Breakfast. Bob Evans’ signature breakfast is named for hardworking American farmers similar to the brand’s founder, Bob Evans. The dish, which proudly supports the efforts of the National FFA, features a mix of breakfast favorites, including:

  • A choice of buttermilk hotcakes or brioche French toast
  • Two farm fresh eggs, cooked-to-order
  • A choice of hash browns, home fries or fresh-cut fruit
  • A choice of farm-famous breakfast meat

All varieties of the Farmer’s Choice Breakfast, such as The Double Meat Farmer, Homestead Farmer, Red, White & Blueberry Farmer and Banana Berry Farmer, also qualify for the fundraising event.

Helping the FFA outside of Bob Evans Farmhouse Kitchen:

The “Egg Crack, Give Back” promotion coincides with the National FFA Week (February 15-22, 2025) and “Give FFA Day” on February 20, a 24-hour fundraising campaign held during National FFA Week. This weeklong event helps to spread awareness about the mission of the National FFA Organization and its importance to the future of our local economy. Ultimately, the initiative helps to strengthen the backbone for many careers in science, business and agriculture technology for middle and high school students across all 50 states, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
